A reliability evaluation method for complex systems

How to evaluate the reliability of complex systems is becoming more and more important. Conventional methods are too complex to be widely used in reliability engineering. A reliability-based weighted directed graph was constructed by transforming and improving the system reliability block diagram, with a reliability evaluation method then developed based on the weighted directed graph and graph theory. The results show that the proposed method based on the weighted directed graph can help designers and engineers more effectively evaluate the complex system reliability.
