Simulation on stability of Harbin-Dalian high-speed railway abutment

To study the stability of high-speed railway abutment under operation, the abutment mechanical properties were studied at various working conditions. Taking the construction of the Harbin-Dalian railway as the basis project, the variability and regularity of the abutment settlement under different loads were analyzed using the MADIS/GTS software. The results showed that the abutment stability largely depends on the material and the load. In the dynamic analysis of the bridge abutment, the two sides connected with the abutment have the largest settlement and represent non-linear changes. The lower sub-grade has the maximum stress and acceleration.
