Safety probability assessment method for explosive container

A method was proposed to assess the probability safety of explosive container. Two types of factors which affect the safety of explosive container and their uncertainty were discussed. The influence of the factors on the container safety was analyzed by combining the numerical simulation and Monte Carlo method. The safety probability of explosive container can be calculated based on the analysis of the simulation results. The probability can be used for the evaluation of the safety of explosive container and the its optimization design. An example was given to illustrate the method.
