Abstract
A two dimensional axisymmetric gas-solid two-phase flow model was established to research on the strong explosion suppression of accumulated particles. A finite volume numerical computational scheme was constructed based on the unstructured mesh for solving the governing equations. A 2D two-phase flow program was written for simulating the explosion suppression process of accumulated particles. The results show that the numerical computational method is valid for dealing with the gas-solid two-phase flow problems under the condition of strong explosion, and the accumulative density and position of particles could affect the explosion suppression.
