Synthesis and characterization of amide cross-linkers

The amide cross-linkers are one of the key factors that affect the properties of polyacrylamide. In this paper, a series of bis-substituted methacrylamide with different length chain were synthesized using alkyl diamines and methacrylatic chloride as the starting materials. The experimental conditions were optimized, and the chemical structures of the synthesized cross-linkers were confirmed by NMR, GC -MS and elemental analysis.
