Abstract
Structural damage is bound to have a certain impact on the dynamic characteristics, and further to affect the carrying capability of the structure. With a half-through concrete-filled steel tubular arch bridge as the research object, the finite element procedure ANSYS is used to establish the 3D finite element dynamic model, and figure out the natural vibration frequency and the vibration mode of the bridge; and a research is made on the influence of the damages of the suspenders and cross-braces at different locations on the natural vibration characteristics. The analysis results show that the damage of suspender located in mid-span is even more significant in the influence on the vertical bending vibration, and the damage of cross-brace near the 1/4 span and 3/4 span is of great influence on the lateral vibration of the structure.
