Model-based optimal setting control of the raw slurry multi-mill blending process

摘要
Raw slurry blending process is one of the key producing processes in the sintering alumina production. In this blending process, raw materials are grinded and blended in the multiple mills to produce the raw slurry. The optimal operation control objective is to make the quality indices of the raw slurry into their targeted ranges. An optimal control method based on the model, which is comprised of the setting layer and the loop control layer, is proposed. In the setting layer, blending model and multi-mill assign model are adopted to obtain the appropriate set-points of the control loops. At last, the results of industry experiments have proven the effectiveness of the proposed method.
