<正>分化抑制因子(inhibitor of DNA binding and/ordifferentiation,Id)是1990年Robert Benezra等人首先从鼠红白血病(murine erythro leukemia,MEL)细胞cDNA文库中克隆出来的一种基因,其表达产物Id蛋白属于螺旋-环-螺旋(helix-loop-helix,HLH)转录因子家族成员。大部分HLH蛋白有一个与之相邻的强碱性区域,为HLH蛋白与DNA结合所必需,能与E2框基序(CANNTG)或相关N2框基序(CACNAG)结合,含有此区的HLH蛋白称为碱性HLH
