摘要
In this paper, we propose a generalized code index modulation-spread spectrum (GCIM-SS) scheme that uses the chaotic sequences to achieve better anti-interception performance than that of the traditional direct sequence-spread spectrum (DS-SS). In each symbol period, the modulated bit is spread by one of the candidate chaotic sequences with different properties. The legitimate receiver uses multiple correlators to detect the transmitted chaotic sequences, and then recover the information bits. We theoretically analyze the anti-interception performance of the proposed GCIM-SS, and the simulation results show that the GCIM-SS signal exhibits better covertness compared to the conventional DS-SS.
