Clinical performance of a new atrial automatic threshold testing algorithm

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to test the behavior of the Guidant Atrial Auto Threshold (AAT) algorithm at implant in patients with either acute or chronic atrial pacing leads. The AAT algorithm is based upon an independent atrial pacing and evoked response (ER) sensing configuration, using ER peak amplitude and time information, to classify beats as capture, fusion or non-capture.
