A Discussion upon Various Problems concerning the Curriculum and Teaching Reform in College English

The present curriculum reform in college English is not merely a teaching reform but a reform concerning curriculum and teaching as a whole.In order to consolidate the fruits of the present reform,several problems should be solved.The first is to decide the focus of college English teaching: listening and speaking.The second is that the integration of information technology and curriculum should be designed to change the structure of present college English teaching.Lastly,the reform of assessing system should also be an indispensable part of the present reform.
