Abstract
We present results on the production of resonances ($\ensuremath{\rho}$, $f$, $g$, $\ensuremath{\omega}$, ${A}_{1}$, and ${A}_{2}$) in $\overline{p}n$ annihilations at 5.55 GeV/c. Channel and resonance cross sections are determined and compared with $\overline{p}p$ data obtained at nearly the same incident momentum. Production features in terms of the transverse momentum (${P}_{T}$) and the transverse kinetic energy (${E}_{K}$) are also investigated. In particular, it is shown that the noninvariant ${E}_{K}$ distributions for exclusive annihilation channels can be parametrized by ${e}^{\ensuremath{-}\frac{{E}_{K}}{T}}$ functions, and the behavior of the slope parameters $T$ is discussed.
