Effect of paclitaxel, cisplatin and mitomycin on 3AO, SKOV3 and OVCAR3 in vitro

Objective To study the effect of paclitaxel, cisplatin and mitomycin on three human ovarian cancer cell lines, 3AO, SKOV3 and 0VCAR3.Methods By tetrazolium blue ( MTT) colorimetriy, the inhibition effect of paclitaxel, cisplatin and mitomycin C on the growth of human ovarian cancer cell line 3AO, SKOV3, and OVCAR3 was determined and compared with the control group.Results At drug concentration of 10 and 100 μmol / L, paclilaxel, cisplatin and mitomycin showed good inhibition effects on the three ovarian cancer cells, compared with control group (P0.05) ; cisplatinum and mitomycin showed stronger inhibition than paclitaxel (P 0.05 ).Conclusion In treatment of ovarian cancer, combined use of different anticancer drugs is efficacious.
