摘要
Students often approach a course with Problem-based Learning (PBL) delivery with some amount of apprehension. Yet problem identification and solutions form a natural extension of learning in a Business School. Among the many subjects is that of "entrepreneurship" where creative thinking and problem solving of the learners should be an important learning outcome rather than mere content assimilation. This research attempts to describe and analyse students' perceptions of the subject Practice of Entrepreneurship (POE) which was taught the PBL way for the first time in the second semester 1999-2000 to 417 final year Diploma in Business and Diploma in Accounting and Finance students of Temasek Business School, Temasek Polytechnic. Students were probed on the various aspects of the subject ranging from content and delivery to the topics that they found interesting and difficult. Implications for educators are discussed.
