Abstract
The synthesis and characterization of core/shell Fe3O4/Au nanocomposite were performed. Furthermore, its application to a surface plasmon resonance (SPR) biosensor was mainly studied. The Fe3O4/Au nanocomposite coupled with rabbit anti-human IgG (anti-IgG) was trapped on the Au film by magnetic force and the Fe3O4/Au/anti-IgG sensing membrane was prepared. There is not a covalent link between the membrane and Au film, which simplifies the immobilization of the antibody and enhances the sensitivity of biosensor. The SPR biosensor exhibits a satisfactory response for human IgG in the concentration range of 1.25 similar to 20.00 mu g.mL(-1) and shows good reproducibility.
