摘要

We have determined the ion confinement time in the RIKEN 18 GKz ECRIS under pulsed mode operation. The obtained ion confinement time increases as the charge state of the Ar ions increases. in order to explain this tendency the introduction of a depression in the potential of the plasma is necessary.
