The clinical research of Compound Rhubarb combination treatment on skin toxic reaction caused by chemotherapy in tumor patients

Objective To investigate the clinical effects of Compound Rhubarb combination treatment on skin toxic reaction caused by chemotherapeutics exosmosis.Methods ①50 patients in treatment group received self-made Compound Rhubarb(ice cubes,liquid medicine,tincture)combination treatment for 3~7 days.②30 patients in control group A received simple ice compress and circular hypodermic localized injection of 5 mL 0.1% lidocaine and 5 mg dexamethasone twice a day for 3 days.30 patients in control group B received simple ice compress and external treatment of heparin sodium cream for 7 days.Results The effective rates were 98.0% of treatment group,86.7% of control group A and 80.0% of control group B,and there were significant differences(P0.05) between treatment group and control group A,B.Conclusion Compound Rhubarb combination treatment was an effective method for skin toxic reaction caused by chemotherapy in tumor patients.This method was economic,convenient and efficient with low adverse reaction rate,and it was worth to be widely promoted and applied in clinic.
