Research on Phase Coding Identification of Loran-C Signal under the Background of Strong CWI

Strong carrier wave interference(CWI) may submerge Loran-C signal,even the loran-C receiver fails in receiving Loran-C signal. The identification principle of the Loran-C carrier signal initial phase based on all-phase Fast Fourier Transform(apFFT) spectrum analysis is analyzed on details.After studing on the method for Phase coding identification of Loran-C signal with high carrier wave interference(CWI)based on apFFT,Computer simulation of the new method on the Loran-C received signal with strong CWI and is completed with MATLAB,showing that the apFFT can identify not only all frequency components which likes FFT but also the initial phase of the various frequency components,especially when the signal-to-interference ratio(SIR) is-40dB,it can also identify the initial phase of the Loran-C carrier signal,The results of the analysis,which are confirmed by computer simulation,are presented in a form that the novel method will be of direct use to the designers of enhanced Loran-C receivers.
