Determination of thallium in ore and wastewater samples by flow injection/coupled chemiluminescence reaction

A new method for the determination of thallium is proposed by flow injection/coupled chemiluminesence reaction,which is based on the replacement of Co(Ⅱ) by Tl(Ⅲ) from Co(Ⅱ)-EDTA complex and the subsequent CL reaction of 鲁米诺-H_2O_2-Co(Ⅱ).The linear range for the determination of Tl(Ⅲ) is 3.0×10~(-6)～1.0×10~(-2) mg/mL.The relative standard deviation is 2.0% for 11 measurements of 1.0×10~(-4) mg/mL Tl(Ⅲ) standard solution and the detection limit is 1.0×10~(-6) mg/mL.The method has been used to determine thallium in ore and wastewater samples.
