Qptical Properties of a Novel Azo-diphenylamine Material

A novel azo-diphenylamine was synthesized and characterized.Other components were doped and polymer film was formed.Its UV absorption spectrum and refractive index were measured.According to the spectrum characteristics,the photo-induced birefringence was studied by using 632.8 nm He-Ne laser.The experimental result indicates that the sample film has excellent optical nonlinear properties.It will be a novel optical information storage material.
