Treatment modalities of temporomandibular joint ankylosis: the Egyptian experience

Background and Objectives: The aim of this study is to report the Egyptian experience in the management of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) ankylosis at Tanta University, and to discuss the outcomes and complications of different surgical modalities employed in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, during the period 1995 to 2006.
