Abstract
Field test was carried out to research the moving effect of car in the sandy pavement for the differences of boundary conditions of soil pavement in the existing pavement rut theory and loose pavement in practical application.The test showed that the rut depth was bigger than the theoretical value because of the structure damage of pavement caused by shear failure during the moving process of car.A correction coefficient was proposed to improve the theoretical formula through analysis.On the basis of field test,the actual rut depth data is obtained and the experiment data is processed by Grubbs criterion.By comparison between the actual and theoretical value,the correction coefficient of theoretical formula k=1.1 is proposed.
