Análisis ambiental y propuestas de mejora de los recursos energético e hídrico de las instalaciones que prestan servicio al Parque del Montnegre y el Corredor

Environmental analysis and proposals for improvement of the energy and water resources of the facilities that supply services to the PMC In order to analyse the energy and water vectors of the facilities that supply services to the Parc del Montnegre i el Corredor (PMC), we have analysed its architectural characteristics, sources of energy, wa- ter and energy consumption and amenities. The analysis has used a methodology that includes architectural, energy, water and environmental parameters and aspects of the so- cio-environmental perception of workers and users of the park with regard to energy and water. We have detected deficiencies in terms of energy efficiency, water saving and the use of renewable energies: 66% of the facilities are moderately sustainable and 17% are not sustainable. The diagnosis of deficiencies has guided the proposals for envi- ronmental improvement. They mainly affect improvement of faulty insulation, the replacement of the present electric heating systems and an increase in the efficiency of the toilets. There is also a pro- posal to introduce renewable energies and provide environmental ed- ucation for the workers and users regarding energy and water.
