摘要
Bismuth-layered compound Ca0.15Sr1.85Bi3.95Nd0.05Ti5O18 (CSBNTi-0.05) ferroelectric ceramic samples were prepared by solid-state reaction method. Effect of different sintering temperatures on the crystal structure, microstructure and ferroelectric properties of the CSBNTi-0.05 ferroelectric ceramics were studied. It is found that crystals develop entirely and a-axis orientation is enhanced at 1180 degrees C. At this sintering temperature, the highest remnant polarization 2P(r) and coercive field E-c are 18.64 mu C/cm(2) and 83.2 kV/cm, respectively. These results can be explained as follows. Bismuth in the pseudo-perovskite blocks evaporates easily at high sintering temperatures that leads to oxygen vacancies. The Curie temperature of the sample is 310 C. The dielectric constant and dielectric loss of CSBNTi-0.05 is 164 and 0.0083 measured at 60 Hz-100 kHz, respectively.
