Design and Implementation for the Engine of Symbolic Library in GIS

The engine of symbolic library is the mid-ware between symbolic library and GIS platform.How to devise the framework and interface of the engine will have a lot of effect on the edit function in the GIS platform.This paper mainly discussed how to develop an engine of symbolic library which is not combined with certain GIS software,and designed six function modules based on software reusing,as well as discussed design and implementation for the engine of symbolic library.
