Abstract
Objective To summarize the first aid and care of 28 severe hand-foot-and-mouth disease children with stress gastric ulcer receiving mechanical ventilation.Methods Nasal feeding was adopted in 62 severe hand-foot-and-mouth disease children with mechanical ventilation.Twenty-eight cases were confirmed with stress gastric ulcer by drainage of blood.Intravenous infusion of Omeprazole,nasal feeding thrombin,Smecta,admixture milk with saline solution,and gastric lavage with cold saline were administered.Results Stress ulcer was cured within 1-3 days.No hemafecia and upper gastrointestinal hemorrhea were observed.Conclusion Stress ulcer might be cured by intravenous infusion of Omeprazole,nasal feeding medicine and milk,and gastric lavage.
