Abstract
Objective:To summarize the intensive care experience for low weight infant undergoing congenital heart surgery.Methods:To analyze retrospectively the management of respiratory system,circulation system,the electrolyte balance and early complications for the postoperative infants suffered congenital heart diseases.Results:After all there were 39 patients recovered successfully,whereas one died.During the intensive caring,9 infants occurred complications,which including 2 low cardiac output syndrome,1 bleeding,2 serious arrhythmia,4 atelectasis.Conclusions:For low weight postoperative infants who suffered congenital heart disease,enhanced intensive care could detect complications promptly,diminish the rate of complication,increase the rate of successful surgery,make early recovery.
