Abstract
Uterine leiomyomas are common tumors of the female genital tract, Management of these tumors may include treatment with gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist (GnRIH-a), We present a case of a woman treated with GnRH-a for presumed uterine leiomyoma, who subsequently was found to have an endometrial stromal sarcoma, Six previously reported cases of uterine sarcomas treated as presumed leiomyomas with GnRH-a are reviewed, Clinical features that might identify women with malignancy are discussed.
