Advance on comparison research of monitoring techniques for PM_(2.5) in ambient air

As the national standard about PM2.5 was put in practice in China,it will be very urgent to monitor PM2.5 scientifically for understanding and assessing the environmental air quality.Owing to the complex and various components of PM2.5,as well as different principle and application characteristic for all kinds of monitoring techniques,the accuracy monitoring of PM2.5 and the monitoring method standardization are investigated at present.The development for monitoring PM2.5 and monitoring technologies was reviewed.Some advanced technologies: beta ray method,oscillation balance method and light scattering method,as well as the comparison of the methods are emphasized.Furthermore,the monitoring equipments and techniques,standard method and criterion suitable to China are discussed.
