摘要
Rising from a chair or sit to stand movement (STS) is a significant movement in order to evaluate motor control and the stability in patients with functional limitations; it is often considered into clinical evaluation scales, too. In literature [1,2] some studies were conducted as for STS movement analysis, but the essential functions of standing up were not well standardized or uniformly defined. The objectives of this study are: (a) definition of an experimental set up for STS movement, suitable for clinical applications; (b) definition of normative range for STS movement and identification of significant parameters; (c) application of experimental set up on adults with hemiplegia.
