Study on Genetic Analysis and Agronomic Traits of Novel Green-revertible Albino Mutant in Rice

In this paper,the genetic analysis and research of the agronomic traits of a novel green-revertible albino mutant-Biao8S were conducted.The results showed that the green-revertible albino trait was controlled by a single recessive nuclear gene.The main agronomic traits of Biao8S were similar to that of Pei'ai64S,but the growing period was shortened 2 days,appearance quality and cooking-eating quality were better,and combining ability was higher.Thus,Biao8S with morphological marker could be a great breeding material for two-line hybrid rice.
