摘要
Secretory cell carcinoma of the salivary gland is a rare malignant neoplasm, described as a new entity in the 2017 WHO classification of head and neck tumours. It was previously synonymous with ‘mammary analogue secretory carcinoma’ due to the morphological, genetic and histological similarities to breast secretory carcinoma. Despite the risk of local recurrence and distant metastases it is reported to have a favourable prognosis.
