Nerve Injury With Reflex Sympathy Dystrophy (RSD)

Reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD) and Causalgia are rare complications of dentoalveolar surgery that can cause debilitating, life-altering morbidity. This presentation will provide clarification of terminology and modern ISP taxonomic classification of these pain syndromes, current understanding of pathophysiology, signs and symptoms that will aid in early diagnosis, current advances in treatment, and referral recommendations.
