Properties of elastic-plastic structures subjected to variable repeated imposed displacements and mechanical loads

摘要
This paper presents lower and upper bound shakedown theorems, proper for a case of variable repeated imposed displacements and mechanical loads. Some properties concerning the behavior of structures under these combined loads are proved. A definition of an “equivalent mechanical” load is introduced and a comparison between the above-mentioned loads is made. The considerations are illustrated by examples of frames.
