According to the authors' previous paper, we shall investigate the measurement process in the Schrodinger equation. We also intend to propose a novel view of the measurement problem in quantum mechanics. We shall show that the object and the detector form a dynamic system with certain Hamiltonian and boundary conditions, and that the Schrodinger equation can describe the so-called collapse of the state vector of the object in the measurement process. We shall also show in what sense the probabilistic character occurs in a causal description of quantum mechanics by the Schrodinger equation. The negative result measurements and the Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen problem will be rationally treated under the new proposal.
