Implementation of multi-port serial card communication based on RTAI-Linux

This paper investigates multi-port serial card real-time communication based on Linux.Taking PC/104 card as the case,the implementation of driving multi-port serial card,the program development of real-time serial communication,and the processes of communication testing are described in detail.Lastly,by using RTAI,a multi-port serial card real-time communication compatible with 16550A chip is implemented successfully.
