The nursing study and effects observation of antibiotic-lock technique in preventing catheter-related infection of patients with hemodialysis

Objective:To study the nursing method and effects of antibiotic-lock technique in preventing catheter-related infection of patients with hemodialysis.Methods:120 patients with hemodialysis in our hospital from January 2008 to November 2010 were selected as research object,and they were randomly divided into control group(routine lock technique group)60 cases and observation group(antibiotic-lock technique group)60 cases,then the time of catheter,infection rate of different position,incidence of complication,patients′satisfaction rate,serum hs-CRP,IL-1β,IL-8,NO and TNF-α before and after the lock technique of two groups were analyzed and compared.Results:The time of catheter of observation group was longer than that of control group,infection rate of different position and incidence of complication were lower than those of control group,patients′satisfaction rate was higher than that of control group,serum hs-CRP,IL-1β,IL-8,NO and TNF-α were lower than those of control group,all P0.05,there were all significant differences.Conclusion:The effect of antibiotic-lock technique in preventing catheter-related infection of patients with hemodialysis is obvious,and it can significantly improve the items,serum inflammatory factors show lower levels.
