摘要
This paper describes the service-level management architecture, developed to support the aims of the TRUMPET (DGXIIIB, AC112) project: to investigate secure, high integrity interactions between administratively separate bodies providing broadband telecommunications services. To investigate these issues a system was designed that included a number of players, interacting over a mixture of technologies - i.e. Java, CMIP and CORBA. These technologies are used to implement technology-independent interface information models derived from TMN. These models were developed using the ODP Viewpoint methodology enhanced with UML notation schemes and informed by concepts from TINA; and this paper illustrates some of this background. The service architecture provides ATM Virtual Paths, with specified Quality of Service, across two or more Network Operators offering service to a Values Added Service Provider; who in turn is offering the full end-to-end service to a number of customers.
