55Mn NMR study of high-pressure synthesized YbMn2

Magnetic ground-state and dynamical properties of high-pressure synthesized YbMn2 were characterized microscopically by 55Mn NMR experiments. A 55Mn spectrum indicates that YbMn2 is paramagnetic down to 4.2 K. The nuclear spin-lattice relaxation is dominated by the Yb moment fluctuations below 30 K and by Mn spin fluctuations with antiferromagnetic correlations at higher temperatures.
