胚胎分割技术是动物克隆技术之一,是胚胎生物工程技术的重要组成部分.牛胚胎分割技术是在牛胚胎移植技术的基础上发展起来的,其研究已经较为完善.牛胚胎分割的成功,是增加胚胎数目和生产同卵双胎或多胎、获得更多牛犊、扩大优良畜种繁殖后代的有效方法.笔者对胚胎分割技术在牛育种方面的应用进行了介绍.
