Analysis on irrationality of determining coal spontaneous combustion with chromatographic method of fluid oxygen adsorption

Based on relevant theories and experimental result analysis,the authors pointed out that the essence of coal oxidation process and oxidation can not be reflected by high or low coal spontaneous combustion measured with chromatographic method of fluid oxygen adsorption,for the situation of substituting point for face exists in such method and the index system of chromatographic method of fluid oxygen adsorption is unscientific.At the same time,they put forward that coal spontaneous combustion is a chemical nature that coal adsorbs oxygen and releases heat during its oxidation process under low temperature.Coal spontaneous combustion is determined by the number of coal molecules which have reaction activation energies under certain reaction temperature and the activation rate of reaction molecules.The accumulation index or trend index of heat released(or oxygen adsorbed) during coal oxidation process should be adopted as the index to weight coal spontaneous combustion high or low.
