Application of Dielectric Barrier Discharge in Surface Modification of Insulating Material

The use of dielectric barrier discharge(DBD) for surface modification of insulating materials is the main research topics in the field of plasma and material modification.The generation methods and the discharge characteristics of DBD were introduced,and the physical chemistry processes were analyzed.Based on this,the mechanism,methods and influence factors for surface modification of insulating materials using DBD were reviewed,and the research status,application foreground and the main obstacle about this were also analyzed.
