Crystal Structure of Copper(II) 2,2′-{[Propane-1,3-diylbis-[nitorilomethylylidene]}bis[5-(ethoxycarbonyl)-3,4-dimethyl-pyrrol-1-ide]

The crystal structure of the title complex, CuL, where H2L = 1,3-Bis[3,4-dimethyl-5-ethyloxy-carbonyl-pyrrol-2-yl-methyleneamino] propane, was determined by X-ray diffraction. The complex crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P21 with a = 10.484(6)Å, b = 7.892(4)Å, c = 14.109(8)Å, β = 90.597(8)°, V = 1167.3(11)Å3, Z = 2, R = 0.0834.
