BEHAVIOR OF WF BEAM-TO-SHS COLUMN CONNECTIONS USING SPECIAL SHAPED HIGH STRENGTH BOLTS

Behavior of WF beam-to-SHS column connections using special shaped high strength bolts called Paddle Bolts was investigated by experimental study using full scale specimens. From the results of this test the static characteristics of this type beam-to-column connections becomes clear and this type of connec- tions can be used practically both semi-rigid and rigid connections depending on the reinforcement at the column surfaces.
