Abstract
Background and Aim: Although both skeletal and cardiac muscles have a remarkable ability to take up and express plasmid DNA after intramuscular injection, gene expression has been reported to be lower in skeletal muscle. The aim of this study was to detect differences in plasmid uptake efficiency.
