Second-Neighbor Exchange Integral In Eus

Experimental measurements of the specific heat of EuS in the temperature region 1-4\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}K have been analyzed to determine the first- and second-neighbor exchange integrals. The results are: ${J}_{1}=(1.48\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.16)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}5}$ eV; ${J}_{2}=(\ensuremath{-}0.11\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.28)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}5}$ eV.
