2 New Phospholipase-D Inhibitors, Sch-49211 And Sch-49212, Produced By The Fungus Nattrassia-Mangiferae

Sch 49211 (2) and Sch 49212 (3) have been isolated from the fermentation of the fungus Nattrassia mangiferae. The strucutres of 2 and 3 were determined by analysis of NMR spectroscopic data. Both 2 and 3 exhibit inhibitory activity (IC50 = 11 and 12 mu M, respectively) in the phospholipase D (PLD) assay.
