Abstract
Biological robot is one of the most popular topics in the world in recent years. It is designed on the basic of electrophysiological and stimulating the brain nuclei to control the biological behavior and movement of animals. The researches on aquatic bio-robot are gaps in the field in China, so we did the basic research on the controlling of biological behavior of the adult carps(n=20). The carps were done craniotomy by the anesthetics which the eugenol was mixed with ethanol absolute at the proportion of 1:8 in this study, and the electrodes with stainless steel acupuncture needles of 0.16 mm in diameter were implanted into the cerebellum of carps. The study showed that the behavior of turning left, turning right, moving forward and backward were successfully induced by electric stimulation in the corpus cerebelli with the electrical parameters on the frequency 30-50Hz, the wave width 1-3ms, the voltage 6-10V. This study establishes a good foundation for the research of aquatic bio-robots.
