Simultaneous Determination Of Acrylamide, Caprolactam, Benzidine And Aniline By Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometry With Two Coupled Columns

An UPLC-MS/MS method with two coupled columns was developed for the simultaneous determination of acrylamide, caprolactam, aniline and benzidine in water samples. The drinking water samples could be injected into the UPLC system just after being filtered through a 0. 2 mu m membrane. The recoveries were in the range of 89. 9%-111. 5%. The waste water samples were purified by solid phase extraction (SPE), and then were analyzed. The recoveries in waste water were 80. 9%-99. 8%. The limits of detection (LOD) of acrylamide, caprolactam, benzidine and aniline were 0. 5, 3. 0, 0. 2 and 0. 1 mu g/L, respectively.
