An Investigation on the System of Estates by the Entirety in China——The Judicial Interpretations by Supreme People's Court

The system of estates by the entirety is one of the important contents in the marriage system,which is of vital importance to the marriage party's interest.With some of the imperfections,the judicial interpretations on the law of the estates by the entirety need to be revised.This paper intends to discuss the system of estates by the entirety in China from three aspects:First,the quality and ownership of houses that parents buy for their children;The second is about how to deal with the issue of the ownership of pre-marriage property value and the sharing of its loss after marriage;Third,at the time of divorce,the husband and the wife should seek agreement regarding the disposition of their jointly possessed property.
